Flight of fury

Flight of Fury is a 2007 direct-to-video action film directed by Michael Keusch. It is part of a series of Steven Seagal‘s direct-to-video movies following the failure of Half Past Dead, and has the honor of being released after Attack Force. It is also an unofficial and shot-for-shot remake of the 1998 Michael Dudikoff movie Black Thunder.

John Sands (Seagal) is a former USAF pilot turned criminal who is given an assignment in exchange of his freedom: he is to recover a top-secret and upgraded version of the F-117 Nighthawk, the X-77, which was stolen by his trainee, Ratcher (Steve Toussaint), a USAF pilot-turned mercenary working for British terrorist Peter Stone (Vincenzo Nicoli).

Why It Sucks

  1. Relies too much on inconsistent stock footage, especially in aviation scenes.
  2. Bad fight scenes that relies too much on stunt doubles, as expected from other Seagal direct-to-video movies.
  3. Poorly written story.
  4. Dull and lifeless acting.
  5. Non-existent special effects.
